Olivier Mosset
Born in Bern in 1944, Olivier Mosset lives and works in Tucson, Arizona.
His works are part of the permanent collections of MoMA, New York; Le Centre Pompidou, Paris; Migros Museum, Zurich; the Musée Cantonal des Beaux-Arts, Lausanne; the Musée des Beaux Arts, La Chaux-De-Fonds, Switzerland, the Musée d’Art Contemporain de Lyon, France; and the National Gallery of Canada, Ontario.
The prints fom Olivier Mosset, produced by TCHIKEBE, use chameleon inks, whose versatile colors vary with the position of the viewer. Both matter and light, these works are based on the principles of neutrality, radicality and erasure that characterize the work of Olivier Mosset, a historical artist who was a member of the BMPT group alongside Daniel Buren, Niele Toroni and Michel Parmentier.
