Uchronia

Uchronia is an agency created by the architect Julien Sebban, graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture (London, UK). This collective creates modern “places of experience”: restaurants, apartments, catwalks – removing the barriers between technique and creativity. They have completed projects in France, Spain and South Korea.

This colourful universe, is impregnated with his passion for the Memphis movement, and offers the know-how of exclusively French craftsmen. In 2019, Uchronia has won the renovation project of the Galeries Lafayette restaurant and the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris restaurant. For the latter, the studio chose to adopt simple lines, a trio of raw materials (stone, concrete and vegetation) and even designed the menu in stone sheets.

For this tenth edition of Private Choice, we present several pieces created for the MAM restaurant.
