Remake Nympheas

For the 2023 edition of Private Choice, Nicolas Dhervillers presents its new Remake Nymphéas series, inspired by the oils on canvas adorning the walls of the Impressionist chapel at the musée de l’Orangerie. Claude Monet created his Water Lilies at the end of his life, at a time when he was losing his visual acuity. He compensated for this with absolute freedom of framing, choosing the reflection on the pond in his Givernois garden as a subject.
